2002 Chrysler 300 Engine Light CodePO441B

This indicates a problem with the emissions system. On some newer models, a loose gas cap will cause this code to appear. If tightening the cap does not work, the EVAP purge solenoid is normally the culprit. The EVAP purge solenoid is located in right front corner of engine compartment, near the air cleaner (pictured below). Simply remove EVAP purge solenoid from mounting bracket to remove. When installing, ensure EVAP purge solenoid is installed so the word TOP stamped on top of solenoid is facing upward.
