2001 Chrysler 300 Intermittent brake warning light

Hello,
I have 300M and the brake warning light sometimes comes on when I press down on the brakes hard. Otherwise the brakes seem to working fine.
Any ideas?

There is a level sensor in the brake fluid reservoir. Over time (assuming that you are not leaking brake fluid) as your brake pads are wearing thin (but not thin enough to the brake sensor), the fluid flows into the brake line, instead of staying in the reservoir.

You may add some brake fluid into the reservoir, but you really should have the brake pads checked.
