when I am on snow it won't pull itself. I don't think the traction control works. What controls it? Is it vacuum controled?

The traction control is controled by the abs and wheel speed sensors. If it detects one tire is moving alot faster than the others (spinning) It applys the brake to that wheel to slow it down.

If the traction control is activating, an indicator light on the dash will come on that says "trac control" and you should hear a buzzing noise similar to the noise you hear with the anti-lock brake system (ABS).
