1999 Chrysler 300 Hood will not open

I can't get the hood open on my car it was overheating took it to a shop and they broke the latch. How can I get the hood open so I can get the thermostat replace. do I have to go to the dealer?

Hi:
Chances are you will need to visit a body shop. You can try to access the latch through the grill, but I believe the hood needs to be up to access the screws to remove the grill.
