With nothing working but the lights and not much else I'm going to have you check one of the problem areas on those trucks, the ground cables. They run one from the battery to the right front of the block and one from the battery to the radiator support (it also ties in the lights and horn to that ground) An easy test if you have jumper cables is to just run one from the ground on the battery to a clean spot on the engine. See if it tries to start. If it does remove the ground cable and inspect it, they corrode inside the insulation and still look okay. Also check the left-hand battery if it has it. Next there is a ground that goes from the block back to the firewall, those tend to rot off. Bad grounds can cause a lot of strange things.
