Engine chirping noise while car is idling

When CRV is idling, I hear a chirping noise from the front. Have been hearing it since I bought the vehicle with only 7 miles on it 1 1/2 mths ago.
I could not imagine the noise was coming from my new car
But everywhere I go the chirping noise follows me.
Is this normal, and if not then what should I do?

It sounds like you have a serpentine belt that is dry, but to be sure can you please shoot a quick video with your phone so we can hear the noise? that would be great. You can upload it here with your response. This guide will help walk you through changing the serpentine belt and diagrams below to show you how on your car:

I had this problem as well, the belt was cracked so I replaced it. worked like a charm.
