Chirp sound from wheel, stops when applying the brakes?

Getting a chirping sound after driving, stops when applying brakes, but returns.

Yep, this is normal when the brake pads wear down, there is a screamer on the pads that contacts the rotor while it spins to make the noise letting you know brake service is required. Here is how to change out the front brake pads but you should check the rear brakes as well.

I’ve always had terrible luck with cars. I have 2019 trax that makes a screeching noise at times when driving, stops upon braking. I had my front pads replaced not long ago, but the pads were cheap from autozone and shims weren’t replaced. I also get this woosh sound when driving from the left wheel it appears. Hopefully not a bad wheel bearing.

Yep, that sounds like the brake pads, if there were ceramic I would replace them with semi metallic which should fix the problem. Thanks for the videos, they helped.
