Just recently I have experienced a chirp or a squeal somewhere around the serpentine belt. it only happens when I step on the accelerator. I also noticed a somewhat wobbly idle tensioner. so that's where I'm at now. I need help to diagnose the problem.

Hello,

I think you already have. When a pulley wears out they get wobbly like that. It is due to the bearing going bad. When they get this way they need to be replaced and will make the serpentine belt make this noise.

Thanks,
Alex
