are there any performance chips that stand out against another like a particular brand or do they all do the same basic thing.

With that GM cars haven't used a removable eprom that you can change out for many years.So you would have to get a programmer that can reflash your ecm.The only one iam familiar with are the hypertech ones.That is the one I would get for my car.I used to be into all that when I was younger.But if my car takes me back and forth to work iam happy lol.
