Well this Chevy has been a bit of trouble for me since last year. After a few repairs an evap code pops up and I was reluctant to put in more work into it so it sat untouched for the winter. Come this spring, I try to turn it on and nothing happens. So I take the battery in to be checked, come back with it fully charged, pop it in and still nothing happens. No dash lights, engine won't crank, horn won't work, radio or AC won't turn on, it's completely dead. I check the fuse box and all the fuses are fine. So what else do I check, any idea what it could be? I recently noticed that there was a recall regarding the ignition switch on these vehicles, could that be the source of the problem or is there something else? Any help would be greatly appreciated!!

Still no luck unfortunately, still nothing but I did notice that the key would get considerably warm/hot after pulling it out of the ignition. Would that be a clue on what the problem could be?

it may but i'm afraid you'll have to have a mechanic scan this because if it's a security problem auto parts scanners don't work on this. it cold be ignition switch but if you replace it it still won't start because it has to be programmed to your car for the security system
