Hi, I just have a question about the engine build, I’ve been watching the chevy 5.3 build on your YouTube channel and wanted to know if it's going to be the same for the Chevrolet 6.0 when it comes to rebuilding it, I know some of the measurements are going to be different but can I use that video playlist as a reference when rebuilding the 6.0, also what are the things to consider when swapping my 5.3 to 6.0. thank you so much.

Hey!

Thank you so much for watching the series! You can totally use the 5.3 video series to build your 6.0 out. The bore and stroke are different but that is all I can think of off the top of my head. If you are in doubt, you can use the Summit Racing check fitment button that is on all their parts to double check if it will work for you.

Just make sure you get the same reluctor wheel teeth count for the crank trigger. I believe the 5.3L and 6.0L use the same ECM. It will just need to be tuned for it, which you are going to have to do anyway to make the best of your speed parts.

Thank you for using 2CarPros!

Best,
