2004 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

The driver side window went down, but now will not go up.

how can I fix this problem before it rains.

It depends whether you can hear the motor runn ing or not. If you can, it probably indicates a bad regulator. If you can, it's likely a bad motor but either way it should be tested to eliminate the possibility of a bad switch. It's probably a moot point anyway because the regulator and motor are sold as a complete unit.

I hate to contradict the other tech but you can buy the motor and sector arms separately, but I think your problem may be in the switch. It seems that it went down ok but won't go up. Rock the switch back and forth rapidly several times to see if it starts working. Sometimes the contacts carbon up.
