My drivers side power window will not go up. We hear a clicking everytime we try to get the window to go up. Could this be hopefully a fuse or is it a motor issue? Could you please tell me what the worse case scenario in cost that could be expected.

Thanks,
Jill

Chances are the switch is bad. Here is how it works. THe motor is grounded through the door that it is mounted to. The switch sends power to it. There are two wires that go to the motor. When you put the window down, power is supplied through one of the two wires. WHen you put it up, it is supplied through the other. What happens is basically the polarity is reversed causing the motor to run in a different direction.

After all that, all I trying to say is the switch is most likely the problem.

Let me know if you have other questions.

Joe
