2002 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Automatic 122000 miles

hi i have a chevy venture 2002 the van it stalls when i come to a stop but wont shut of when i put in neutral please help me to find out if it is the transmission tyyyy

Does it die when you put back in drive? Maybe lockup convertor staying engaged
