How do I remove my thermostat in my van. I have a 3.4 ltr. Do I need to remove throttle body also to get to the thermostat?

Yep the breather hose which is a pain to remove has to come off. So does the little wiring harness that goes to the parts on the hose. I don't think you have to remove the throttle body just get the hose out of your way. The bottom t-stat housing bolt only loosens so you can get the housing off the top bolt on the housing comes out. When you put the housing bolts back in coat them with rtv sealer before you put the t-stat in place. And get a t-stat made in usa don't put one made in mexico in it they won't open in boiling water.

No you do not have to remove throttle body. You do have to remove the crossover exhaust pipe which can be a real pain
