2001 Chevy Venture Fuel Tank can't fill?

2001 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive 70000 miles

When I try to file the tank with gas it stops at 7 gals or so. The gas pump keeps shutting off....

At a loss on this one..need help

If you look under the car, you will see the filler tube that the gas goes into. Along side is a breather hose. The breather allows air to exit the tank when the gas enters. If it is damaged, rusted, or plugged, it will limit how fast you can add fuel.

Check that and let me know what you find.
