The way I got mine out was to disconnect the battery terminals. Take the serpentine belt off mark rotation of the belt [arrow pointing to front of van]. Take the front motor mounts off. Lay to the side, I laid mine on the floor beside the tires with the mount bolts in the way they were. Ok your going to need a floor jack to lower the front of the subframe [just the front] place the floorjack in the middle of the front rail of the subframe. Take the front subframe bolts out. Now heres where it gets tricky. You have to lower the subframe 3" and watch it does not catch on the fascia[ the plastic part of the front bumper] if it catches and pulls on it it will break it. Just go slow and easy if it catches on the fascia take a screwdriver and pry the fascia off then lower some more. And it will catch on the fascia believe me. When you get the subframe lowered 3" the the alternator has some wires that have to be took off and three bolts one in front two in the back the one on the back right will loosen enough to get the alternator out the back left comes out. You can get to the back by way of going up by the rear of the passenger tire. This is the only way to get enough room to get the alternator out. Reverse everything and you got it.
