2000 Chevy Venture starting

when i turn the key it want make a sound but you can hear the dash makes a woshing sound like my gages are moving. It only does it every now and then.

When this happens, you need to check to see if the starter is getting power. Have a helper turn the key to the start position while you check for power to the smaller wire on the starter. You should have 12+ volts. If you do, then the starter is going bad. If you don't, check the starter relay under the hood for power.
