2000 Chevy Venture power windows

Power window switch bad. Will go down but not up. Its cold can hot wire switch to get window up until I can get a new one.

Usually the contacts get hot and burnt you can take the switch apart and scrape the contacts off so they are shiny and this will work a while. Is the window doing the usual tilting down in the front as it goes up?
