Have Chevy Venture with check engine light on, when i took to mechanic and then auto parts store to have them check code, thir scanner would not "boot" up (no power from van). I have bought a computer to install and the dealer will then reprogram computer BUT is there a problem with the hookup under the dash, since it wont power up hand held scanner?
