I have a chevy venture 99 with approx 112k miles that has started to make a constant whinning noise when the speeds gets to over 40 mph. No noise while going slower. Fluid full. I have put it in neutral and floored it and there is no whinning noise. If I take my foot off the accerlerator while traveling over 40 the whinning goes away only to return when I give it more gas. Shifting smoothly. Any ideas? I have heard a little bit of everything and I dont trust anyone. I am concerned about bringing it into a trans shop since they might not be honest and it might cost me bis $ that I dont have. Thanks. Brian
