1999 Chevy Venture stop lights overheating

i recently 3 mths had new rear lamp assemly circuit boards installed, all lights are working except stop lamps are getting so hot the plastic mogel is melting.
both sides stop lamps are doing this
faulty boards? i have no idea....
any info on this would be greatly appreciated
