1999 Chevy Venture runs bad

1999 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic

drove just fine stopped for a few minutes in park died tried jumping it battery went completely dead put new one in and now runs like crap backfiring oil sensor light is on and check engine light is on but like i said before battery went dead ran fine

Did you go back and make sure nothing got knocked loose when the battery was changed...make sure no fuses or anything like that got knocked loose...
