1999 Chevy Venture 6 cyl Front Wheel Drive Automatic 167K miles
The idle appears to be low. Is there a way to adjust it or is there a device that I need to check that controls the idle?

Hello, I'd take the throttle-body off, give it a good cleaning, make sure all inside passages are clean. Remove the sensors before cleaning. If the iac pintle has a lot of black sooty stuff on it, clean it off the best you can. When installing the iac pintle should stick out less than 1 1/8 inch. You can usually get it to retract with thumb pressure, if it sticks out too far.
