1997 Chevy Venture Over Heating

having an over heating issue. Suspect a small head gasket leak. 8-10 months ago i put in KW solved the problem with the exception of the upper radiator hose sometimes becomes rock hard and temp rises. Is the thermostat the problem?

Try replacing the Stat -don't work check and test the radiator and water pump
