Cranks runs good for about 5 miles then engine will die . Wait about 10 mins will crank and run for about 3 mies then die again. have replaced fuel pump about four times, van has been sitting for about 18 months trying to decide worth keeping. Charged battery put gas in tank van cranked .

I see a common problem with 93-99 GM trucks a lot.
The female connectors in the fuse box under the hood, where the relay goes go bad.
They loose their "springiness" and don't have a firm grip on the blades of the relay anymore.
