How do remove and replace brake light switch for 1995 chevy van?

Service and Repair
Stop Lamp Switch Removal
Disconnect battery ground cable.
Disconnect stop lamp switch electrical connector.
Remove retainer from brake pedal pin, Fig. 4.
Unsnap switch from pushrod.
Reverse procedure to install.
