I changed my transmission and it will not shift gears and that was not the problem at first. It was shifting but hard, I got a used trans that was working, changed the screen and the fluids and put a rebuilt torque converter in it. it was driving good until I took out my steering colom and replaced it. I dont know if that hurt anything and another thing I didnt un plug the negative battery cable during the exchange of trans or steering.
