I have a 92 chevy 1500 with 4.3 V6 and the clutch will fall all the flor when pressed. When I start it in gear it takes off on its own. I have tried adding more fluid to it but it still wont gain pressure.

Hi there,

You will have to inspect the slave cylinder(at the bell housing) and the master cylinder (on the fire wall) for leaks. Check under the rubber boots for fluid loss. If so replace unit and re bleed the system, to bleed you will have to depress the clutch and open the bleeder at the slave cylinder, close it of again before lifting the pedal, repeat this several times untill you get a good stream of fluid from the bleeder ( no air) and make sure that the reservoir dose not get empty as you will have to do it all again.
