97 chevy cavalier need spark plug gap?

1997 chevy cavalier 2 door 4 cyclinder changed plugs but have no manual for gap info. Motor has 180,000 miles had been running a little rough. millage has gone down to 28 miles per galione. Need help please

Well, all plugs have a gap and ussually they are somewhat close out of the box. Considering the year of your car you're prbably looking at .045-.060 gap.
Your local chevy dealer's parts or service dept. should have no problem telling you if you tell them what motor you have.should be able to take care of this without much problems, hope this helps.
