85 Cutlass engine upgrade

Unfortunately you havent mentioned if your cutlass is american or canadian. Canadian cutlass's had chev motors and american ones had old power most of the time. The chev 4.3 should bolt right up to your existing transmission but it would be easier to convert it to a carb rather then have to get all the electronics. A nicely built 350 is probably a better choice because of the weight of these cars (mine weighs 3850lbs) and because its a no brainer drop in.
