6.5 chevy runs wide open

I have 95 2500 chevy with 6.5 turbo diesel when it starts its running wide open and wont idle down .put new moud on fuel pump and put a new accelarator pedal with the electronics on it .what else could it be ? my 93 does not have all the electronics on it .so this new to me.[/b]

could be a vacuum leak somewhere. Those have MAF sensors, so it could be that. I would start be looking for a vacuum leak.Is the check engine light on? If it is the truck needs to be scanned for trouble codes
