May be one week apart or two days, but all of a sudden the heater is full heat temp. (can shut off blower of course) very hot air and slide controls has no effect where ever they are set. Turn off the ignition and back on and it is fine for a few days. after resetting that way the A/C and heater work perfectly for a time.

The truck needs to be scanned for any codes relating to any modules, A/C control, body, pcm...if any codes are stored they will point you in the right direction.

That is the problem. No codes come up. The only way to get the A/C to put out cold again is to turn off the ignition then back on. After that, all is normal for a period of time.

It is a "Duel Climate Control System". I don't think that is Auto Temp. I'm not sure. The manual does not say Auto temp.
