2004 Chevy Tahoe hesitates when starting?

Recently, our 2004 Tahoe hesitates when starting cold. It hesitates to start just slightly when the ignition is turned over when cold, like the battery is weak. After the engine starts, it runs normal. When the engine is warm or the car was driven within a few hours of first starting, it starts just fine with no hesitation. Do you have any recommendations of where to start the troubleshooting process?

My silverado seems to loose fuel rail pressure over night or a full day at work. I turn the key to the run position for a few seconds then crank and it fires right off. Run position turns on the electric fuel pump and brings the rail up to pressure before trying to start it. Might try it.

The dealership I worked for I dealt with GMC YUKONS which is the same thing, It helps most of the cars when starting if you turn to the run position for a few seconds and then start it. As said above, try and hopefully it works. Just as you would a diesal, wait a few seconds and then start.
