2003 Chevy Truck V8 Four Wheel Drive Automatic

'03 Chevy DMax 2500 Crew cab. Back up lights do not work any more at all. Interior lights only work off push button on overhead light.
Perimeter lighting is set to on, and front and side lights work as expected, no BU lights or int lights. BU lts do not work in reverse either. I believe this all happened at the same time so it is all the same issue. All bulbs/fuses are checked and ok. GM dealer was not able to fix. Any suggestions? Its pretty sad the company that built the car does not know whats wrong with it. Either that or they dont want to fix it because its to much work. Need your help please! Thanks

I find that odd for the dealer?How far did they go to diagnose the problem?Did they scan for dtc's, no reverse lights can set a dtc. Did they test for backup lamp supply voltage circuit for an open or high resistance?Looking at the scematic the reverse lights and interior lights run throught the BCM, you could also have a BCM problem. Post back with any other questions.
