Engine Performance problem
2003 Chevy Truck 6 cyl Two Wheel Drive Automatic

03 Chevy 1500 with a 4.3. Last night was on way home and it started missing bad.

The right side plugs were all fouled. It threw a P0300 code. Multiple cylinder missfire. Changed the cap, plug, wires, and distributer. Also the fuel pump. And cleaned the O,2 sensors and even tryed it without it plugged in.

Does anyone have any ideas or suggestions?

hi justin. the vortec has a fuel injection controller under the plantum .it actually distributes fuel through poppet valves. when these things fail they will foul all the plugs on one side or the other. this part is a cpl hundred dollars and the plantum has to be removed . if you remove the plantum you will most likely find raw fuel lying inside the valley. this is an indication the orings in the poppet valves are bad.good luck billymac
