The oil pressure gauge on the pick up truck does not work. I took the truck to Autozone and they checked the oil pressure and it is fine. The oil pressure sensor appears to not be working, and I have checked the fuses and they are fine. How do I replace the oil pressure sensor/switch on a 2003 chevrolet silverade 6.0 liter V8 with 170,000 miles. The motor runs great and has been running on synthetic oil for most of its life.

Unplug it, unscrew it and screw a new one in. Pretty basic. You might need a special socket for it though.
