Engine Performance problem
2003 Chevy Truck Four Wheel Drive Automatic 92,000 miles
My check engine light has been on for over 6-months I finally had the dealership diagnose the problem while I had the truck in for a different reason they said the light indicates a problem with the emissions system. The code error is for the evap purge valve to be replaced. On an 03 Silverado 5.3l the valve is located between the box and the cab. I tried to disconnect it and there just is not enough room to remove it. It appears I need to lower the fuel tank to make room to remove and replace. does this sound correct?
