I have a 2003 Chevy Tahoe, 5.3L V8 110,000 miles. My Cars rear doors and back hatch won't unlock when I use either the remote entry or push the button on the inside of the vehicle. The front doors work fine. If I unlock the back doors manually they will lock just fine, but then they won't unlock. What is my problem? Is it wiring?

This appears to be the solenoid on the starter. They are two pieces that work as one. The starter is the strong motor that turns the engine over and the solenoid is the part that pushes the worm gear out to engage the flywheel. Without the solenoid the starter just turns itself. Replace the starter.

the key issue here is the car died while you were moving. The starter doesn't sound like it is engaging? Like a free spinning engine? Sounds like your timing belt broke. You can check this by removing your distributor cap and see if the rotor rotates as the engine is being cranked. No rotation means broken belt. Good luck
