2003 Chevy Impala- 3.4L missing during acceleration

It misses with light acceleration. It only does is when gas is slightly applied. The check engine flashes then stays on. I was told that it could be: spark plug, plug wire or an ignition coil? Has anyone had this problem and what is it, and how can it be fixed?

okay if your egine is missing then one or more cylinders is missfiring just go to any parts store (i work at advance auto) and pick up spark plugs if you have 4 cylinders get 4 plugs , i reccomend NGK V-POWER
