When I changed my fuel filter I noticed that the fuel was hot? What would cause the fuel in the line to be hot?

It dependson how hot it was outside, and how long the truck had been shut off before you changed the fuel filter. It also would depend on how much fuel was in the tank. It won't hurt anything because there is no air in the system or spark to ignite it.
