2001 IMPALA - Engine Fan stays on

2001 Impala 3.8L 85K

My engine fan has started to stay on after engine is turned off, but does turn off after awhile. Also, the temperture gauge has stopped reading - it just stays pinned to the left.

Strange thing is that once in awhile the temperture gauge comes back to life and the engine fan does not stay on.

this is common when the PCM goes bad you need a rebuilt unit. Here is how the job is done in the diagrams below. Check out the images (Below). Please let us know if you need anything else to get the problem fixed.
