2001 Chevy Truck How to resolve "Check Engine Light&qu

I am receiving the "Check Engine Soon" light so I borrowed an engine tester and pulled the following code: P0446 Evaporative Emmission Control System Vent Control Circuit.

I believe I found the cannister on the frame near the gas tank but I am unclear on what to do to resolve the issue.

that is a sealed carbon canister, I do not believe it is serviceable, check your lines on the canister make sure they are all clipped in, all the lines to the to the fuel tank and make sure they are connected, I believe one line goes up to the engine compartment check that one as well.
