Take off the distributer cap,and replace the ignition module,It has 2-7/32 screws holding it down and 3 plugs,or replace the whole distributer if your mileage is high,Don't buy an A1-Cardone they use chinese modules,I had a bad experience with one,it left me stranded 75 miles from home,luckily I carry an extra module in my 90 Silverado (218764 miles on it) Good Luck
