2000 Chevy Truck Hard to Start

95% of the time, the truck takes 2-3 tries before it starts. A couple times a week, it starts right up on the first turn of the key...
I know about repairs and have even read the manual. Please help with this diagnosis.

Check the fuel pressure if its within specs if okay-clean out the idle air control valve and see what happens
