this is the old style 99 chev 2500 and we are having trouble keeping it running smooth. when we idle it sputters and sometimes you can push on the gas and it wont even go anywhere, then you push on it again and it goes. Driving down the road it starts to BUCK. You really have to rev it up to get it to go.im loosing my marbles. We have changed the fuel filter & pump no change.

Whatever you do-don't lose those coconuts its a valuable asset. Have you tried testing the throttle position sensor and MAP/MAF- and vehicle speed sensor-

When you replaced the fuel pump did you check the fuel pressure-don't take it for granted bcuz its new-they do go bad new-get the areas menioned and report back your findings we'll be waiting.

The idiot CEL is it On or has flashed before?
