1998 Chevy Truck starting vehicle that has sat up for long

Need to know what steps to take before starting the engine on this truck that has not been driven in a couple of years

Try to turn over by hand if not pull all pluges to reless compression put pb'blaster in cylinder and let for a while keep trying that until it movies if you can turn it over by hand then air fuel and spark and it should run as long as ther are no other major problems
