When pressing on the fuel petal lightly, vehicle will get up to speed (55). When pressing more firmly (not flooring it) RPMs drop and vehicle starts to slow. Have replaced the fuel filter and air filter. Fuel pump was installed 3 months ago. When in "Park" and pressing fast, RPM will drop. If vehicle is turned off for 10 - 20 seconds, will run fine for about 2 miles then start doing it again. Could it be the EGR Valve or the Catalyc Converter? What do you think? There are no engine codes and the light is off

I think it is either of the two--Clean the egr valve first, as they are expensive to replace. The cat converter will act like this too. There are two converters on your engine, have them air flow tested before replacing them, they too are very expensive. They should be replaced as one unit.
