I keep blowing fuses interior dash lights and parking lights?

I keep blowing fuses for my interior dash lights and the exterior parking lights front and rear any ideas why

It is a very common problem on these trucks, check the trailer wiring at the rear of the truck, they short out the running light fuse all the time.

I replaced the headlight switch and still the same thing fuse blows every time a new on is put in

Remove the headlight switch again and check the wiring loom make sure the wires are not melted, most of the time it's the two orange ones that melt together and cause a malfunction causing the fues to blow after a little while. If the loom is okay, you will have to inspect every interior light and parking right and find out which a bulb is giving you the problem.

Ok I have a similar problem but it started out that the interior lights quit and yes the orange wire in the loom has melted what can be done no I would cut and splice in a new wire but I cant find the other end how can I remove the dash section after I have removed the lowerdash and the instrument pannel, A/C, Radio, CD Player pictures would help
