I have added fresh antifreeze to my radiator. I turned on my heater it doesn't warm up the truck.

Hi:
Is the engine running at a normal operating temp? Also, with the engine warm and the heater on, feel both heater hoses. Are the both hot?

Let me know.

Joe

My temp gauge is showing a little cooler than usual. I have been a little confused on heater hoses. Are those the ones that lead from the top of the radiator to the engine where the thermostat is? Or are those the ones that lead from the heater core? When I ran the engine with the heater on, the upper hose that runs from the radiator feels hot. Thanks.

Hi:
The heater hoses will run to the firewall. There are two of them a supply and return hose. Aprox 1 inch outside diameter.
